Hello! I’m Ruyi, I graduated from the University of Toronto majoring in Astronomy and Physics. I am currently a research assistant at the National University of Singapore’s Center for Quantum Technologies.

I plan on returning to my studies in 2027 and would be interested in satellite based free space quantum communications, alternatively i would also be interested in adjacent opportunities in Astronomy instrumentation and/or Quantum Communications.

Current Research & Works

Currently, I am a technical officer with National Quantum Safe Networks where I engage with stakeholders from the industry and government, perform testing and measurements on Quantum Key Distributon systems, contribute ideas for the architectural setup for the testbed and coordinate team members working on software and hardware.
